Heartwarming scenes as Turkish rescuers pull rabbit alive from rubble after quakes
GAZIANTEP, TÜRKIYE - FEBRUARY 8: Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality on Saturday (Feb. 18) released a heartwarming video that shows the rescue of a rabbit after the devastating earthquakes in southern Türkiye.The fluffy rabbit was pulled out from the debris of a collapsed building in the Nurdagi district on the third day by firefighters of Gaziantep city.More than 39,000 people have been killed by the two strong earthquakes that jolted southern Türkiye, according to official figures.The 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude quakes were centered in Kahramanmaras province and struck 10 other provinces -- Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Hatay, Gaziantep, Malatya, Kilis, Osmaniye, Elazig and Sanliurfa. More than 13 million people have been affected by the devastating quakes.
