Cable car in Nepal
KATHMANDU, NEPAL - AUGUST 20: A view of Chandragiri Cable Car, a gondola lift transportation system running from Thankot to Chandragiri hills, hosting Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple, in Chandragiri Municipality of Kathmandu, Nepal on August 20, 2022. The cable car opened in 2016 has 2.4 km (9,095 ft) line with two stations and consists of 38 gondolas that can carry 1,000 people per hour. Reaching the Chandragiri Hills’ top station takes 9 minutes with it. A cabin of the cable car, major attraction for foreign tourists coming to Nepal, accommodates 8 passengers.
