Between the Andes and the Amazon, a winding road opens up, penetrating the imposing jungle in contrast to hair-raising abysses: it is the Trampoline of Death which, in addition to being considered one of the most dangerous roads in the world, has part of the History of the conflicts and the construction of the State in Putumayo. There are 80 km of distressing travel, with 18 curves per kilometer, on a single lane road 3 meters wide without paving; there the dust turns to mud on an unstable ground due to the continuous rains that accompany the rugged topography of the route, which ranges from 600 meters above sea level to 2,800 meters above sea level.
