Drought in Spain reveals ancient structures

In Spain, one of the countries affected by long-term drought in Europe, the decreasing water levels in dams and ponds have brought historical artifacts to light in some places. After the town of Aceredo, which was submerged under the dam waters on the Limia River in the northwest of the country, and an ancient military camp site from the Roman Empire, a historical monastery emerged when the waters receded from a pond in the town of Sant Roma de Sau in the Catalonia region.
