Forest fire in northern Morocco not yet under control
RABAT, MOROCCO - JULY 15: Smoke and flames rise as the forest burns in Rabat, Morocco on July 15, 2022. Forest fires that broke out in northern Morocco's Larache, Ouezzane, Tetouan and Taza regions have not yet been taken under full control. Over 1,000 hectares of forest area have been damaged in the past two days. Hundreds of Moroccan firefighters and soldiers have battled to put out the fire with the help of fire-fighting aircraft. However, the wild blazes are not yet under control as temperatures in the country approach 45 degrees Celsius.
