Grape fields in Turkiye's Manisa
MANISA, TURKIYE - SEPTEMBER 14: A view of workers in a grape field in Manisa, Turkiye on September 14, 2022. An average of 2.5 million tons of grapes are produced in Manisa that meets about 70 percent of Turkiye's annual average grape production of 4 million tons. The hard work of approximately 50 thousand producers continues on one million decares of vineyard in the plains of Manisa. The grapes are dried for 8-10 days after they are cut from the vineyards by the producers and seasonal workers to be transported to the markets by tractors.
