Last images of endangered Anatolian leopard captured by camera trap
ANKARA, TURKIYE - MAY 2022: The last images of endangered Anatolian leopard have just been released by Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.The images were captured by camera trap last year and shows the leopard moving in its natural habitat in Turkiye.It was last seen in 1974.The ministry did not share exact location of their natural living environment for protection reasons. There were earlier records of shot and killed animals.The footage was shared by the ministry on the occasion of the International Day for Biological Diversity, which is observed on May 22 in an effort to increase understanding, awareness of biodiversity issues and calls for action to protect our planet's biodiversity.
