UNRWA worker killed in Israeli attack on central Gaza Strip
GAZA, PALESTINE - AUG. 15, 2024: An UNRWA worker was killed on Thursday (Aug. 15) when Israeli warplanes bombed a United Nations warehouse in the Bureij Refugee Camp area.The worker's body was taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.The Israeli onslaught has killed over 40,000 people, mostly women and children, and injured over 92,400 others since Oct. 7, according to local health authorities.Over 10 months into the Israeli onslaught, vast tracts of Gaza lie in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.
