GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - JUNE 11, 2026: A Palestinian man who was heavily injured in the attack Israel carried out on the Nusayrat Camp in the central Gaza, by violating the ceasefire once again, lost his life.Islam Hasan Muhammad Salih, who was heavily injured in the attack, was transferred to Avde Hospital in the city center. Salih lost his life at the hospital where he was transferred to.In tears, Salih’s young son carried his father’s body on a stretcher to the morgue. Salih’s son and relatives wept near his body in the morgue.According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 981 people have been killed and 3,104 injured by Israeli army fire despite a ceasefire in place since Oct. 10, 2025.Since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, about 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 others wounded, while widespread destruction has affected 90% of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure.
