GIURGIU, ROMANIA - AUGUST 20: Shrimp lie dead on the Danube river bed after extreme drought affecting Giurgiu, Romania on August 20, 2022. The Danube river, second longest river in Europe, has reached historically low levels due to extreme drought. On the Romanian section for the river commercial and touristic navigation has been restricted. The agriculture and wildlife in the area have been affected by the low water levels.
